Biography
I am an academic general practitioner and my research interests are around improving the management of problems commonly seen in general practice. I lead a module on common infections that forms part of the Clinical Epidemiology Intercalated BSc for Medical Students. I also contribute to the undergraduate medical education curriculum by teaching medical epidemiolgy, examining ISCEs, and acting as a mentor.
Research Interest
My research has primarily focused around three main areas: 1) Infections, complications of infections, and antimicrobial use and resistance. 2) Skin conditions, including eczema, acne, skin infections and molluscum contagiosum. 3) Respiratory conditions, including respiratory infections, COPD and asthma.
