Biography
Jonathan Broad is a paediatrics doctor with interests in public health, vaccinology and global health. He is currently researching new and improved vaccines for children and surveillance of infections. He graduated from the University of Bristol having received several prizes for his work on nutrition in marginalised groups, particularly through establishing FoodCycle Bristol. He has completed a BSc in international health and is a masters candidate in postgraduate clinical education. Prior to starting at Oxford Vaccine Group Jonathan performed a mixed methods study of widening participation. He has co-authored reviews in microcephaly, child safeguarding interventions, and medical education evaluations in the context of Palestinian refugees. In his time at OVG, Jonathan has worked on studies to evaluate maternal vaccinations against RSV and different schedules of pneumococcal vaccine.
