Biography
From a successful career in the Merchant Navy, Ross joined Cefas in 1992. Serving as master of research vessels, he then moved on to ship management including the building of our research vessel, the RV Cefas Endeavour. Appointed Corporate Secretary, he managed major projects alongside corporate governance and achieved an MBA. Ross worked with the Cefas Management Board as well as managing the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality and the Knowledge and Information teams. In addition, he had responsibilities for leadership, change management, project delivery, business planning and strategy and procurement.
