Biography
After graduating in medicine from Queens' University Belfast, Dr Toal trained in the NHS as a Public Health Physician, where he obtained a Masters in Public Health and became a Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health. He joined the pharmaceutical industry in 1998 and has worked for a number of companies including Bristol-Myers Squibb, Biogen (later Biogen IDEC) and Aspreva, involving therapeutic areas including cardiology, neurology, auto-immunology and inflammatory diseases before joining Chroma in 2008 as a Medical Director. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine.
