Biography
Rob joined Chrysaor in January 2017. He has a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from Bristol University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse. Rob has 20+ years’ oil and gas industry experience gained across progressive group and operational roles as well as project and transition activities. In 1993 Rob joined Enterprise Oil plc where he initially held group financial and planning roles followed by Finance Manager for the Italy business unit. In 2005 he joined Tullow Oil plc as UK business unit Finance Manager after which he led the transition relating to the Hardman Resources Ltd acquisition in 2007. After a year in the North West Africa business unit Finance Manager he spent 4 years as the Ghana business unit Finance Manager helping take it from the first exploration well success to 12 months post first oil of the Jubilee field as well as the successful exploration and appraisal phases of the TEN field. Following this Rob spent 5 years in group roles with his final role as Group Financial Controller during which time he was a key finance leader within the transformational requisition-to-pay SAP project.
