Biography
Adegoke Olubanwo is a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (PgCHEPP-FHEA). He holds a Doctorate degree (PhD) in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree (MSc) with distinction in Civil and Structural Engineering, both from Coventry University. He is also an alumnus of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Nigeria where he completed his undergraduate studies in Civil and Transportation Engineering. Dr Adegoke is a Lecturer in Civil Engineering (Finite Element Methods / Analysis) at Coventry University. He enjoys the challenge of teaching and research in the latest areas of Computational Structural Mechanics and Bio-cementitious material formulation and characterisation. He has built strong research and consulting collaborations with academic and private organisations within UK and West-Africa. With over fifteen years of relevant postgraduate work experience in civil and structural engineering consulting, construction and academic teaching and research, Adegoke continues to ensure that dissemination of knowledge stays true to his aspirations.
