Biography
Ruth has extensive business experience and re-entered academia with a fellowship from ESRC/SAMS to undertake her PhD at Cass Business School, City University. Ruth's PhD is in Corporate Governance using Grounded Theory to understand how Directors engage with information. Ruth has worked in Business Continuity, Crisis Management and Resilience since 1999. Her career then moved in to Strategy Implementation prior to returning to full time academia. Ruth has an Executive MBA from Henley Business School and an MRes from Cass Business School. Ruth also holds a PgCert in Academic Practice. Ruth was awarded her PhD from Cass Business School, City University London in 2015.
Research Interest
Ruth's research focuses on Business Continuity and Cyber.
