Biography
Xiaolei hold a B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from Northeast Petroleum University, China; a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. degree (magna cum laude) in Petroleum Engineering from Clausthal University of Technology, Germany. Most of his experience focused on energy sector of academia and higher education. Until early 2017, he worked as Research Associate at the Institute of Petroleum Engineering, Clausthal University of Technology, where he participated in multidisciplinary and multicultural groups of researchers and had collaborated on studies related to geophysics, chemistry, and energy engineering.

Dr. Liu's research focuses on Oil and Gas and Renewable Energy.
