Biography
Yahaya is an aircraft armament officer with the Nigerian Air Force. He has a BSc in Chemistry from the Nigerian Defence Academy in 2004, and MSc in Explosives Ordnance Engineering from Cranfield University in 2013. He is currently, a second year PhD researcher in the Centre for Defence Chemistry, Cranfield University, Shrivenham. His sponsors are the Nigerian Air Force and the Petroleum Development Fund, Nigeria.
Research Interest
Yahaya's research is on propellant chemistry with emphasis on developing thermally resistant propellant compositions for aircraft ejection seats and deep oil well applications.
