Biography
Dr Yifan Zhao received his PhD degree from the University of Sheffield in 2007. He also has MSc and BEng degrees from the Beijing Institute of Technology. Before joining in Cranfield in 2013, Yifan held a full-time research position at the University of Sheffield, where his research activities focused on nonlinear signal processing and analysis for complex system and its cross-displinary applications in medical, climatic and industry areas.
Research Interest
Zhao's key research areas are: Thermography image processing for Degradation Assessment , Schlieren image processing for combustion, Fast moving object tracking Cause analysis for component degradation and Space-Time Super Resolution.
