Biography
Marshall studied medicine at Downing College, Cambridge and Cambridge University Medical School, qualifying with an additional intercalated honours degree in Medical Sciences (Neuroscience). Following general professional training and a period of study overseas in New Zealand, his specialist training was undertaken in the North West Thames region, including a research post based at the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Trust which culminated in the award of a Medical Doctorate (MD) from the University of Cambridge in 2013. He subsequently undertook a sub-specialty training fellowship in advanced cardiac imaging at Harefield Hospital. He has dual accreditation in both Cardiology and General Internal Medicine. He is accredited in echocardiography and cardiac CT imaging; he has gained a US Board Certification in Nuclear Cardiology, and is trained in cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging.
