Biography
Benedict Carpenter is Head of Fine Art, and is responsible for the direction, development and management of the subject. He teaches drawing, critical and professional studies, and Fine Art practice.
Research Interest
Benedict’s research interests are in fine art, craft, art medals, sculpture, and figurative arts. His particular research focus investigates the means through which made objects such as sculptures, art-medals and memorials mediate or preserve the social presence of absent people.
