Alan Cohen

Biography

Alan qualified as a dentist at University College Dental School, London, in 1969, and has worked in general practice for over 30 years, as well as in the hospital service and as a university clinical lecturer. He was a long-serving member of the Barnet Local Dental Committee and was its treasurer for over 20 years. Alan joined Dental Protection as a full-time Dentolegal Adviser in 1997 and then became Head of Dental Services (London) before being appointed as a part-time Senior Dentolegal Consultant in October 2011. He also manages Dental Protection’s UK corporate membership. He has lectured in the UK and internationally on many aspects of dentolegal risk management.
