Biography
Barbara Gribling is Member in the Institute of Medieval and Early Modern Studies, Honorary Fellow (Modern British History) in the Department of History and Member in the Centre for Visual Arts and Culture.
Research Interest
Barbara Gribling’s research focuses on modern British cultural history from the eighteenth to the twentieth centuries. She is interested in perceptions of the past, consumer culture and national identity.Interests include Consumerism and consumer culture, History of childhood, Modern British History, Public history and Uses of the past.
