Biography
Budhika Mendis is Lecturer in the Department of Physics, Member of the Centre for Materials Physics, Member of the Centre for Molecular and Nanoscale Electronics, Mid Career Fellow in the Durham Energy Institute
Research Interest
Electron microscopy is used as the primary research tool to investigate a wide range of materials science problems, particularly in thin-film solar cell materials. There is also interest in modelling electron beam-specimen interactions as well as developing image and spectroscopic data analysis methods.
