Biography
My PhD, 'Xenophon in Context: Advising Athens and Democracy' was awarded in June 2013 from King's College London. Prior to joining the department of Classics and Ancient History at Durham I taught at the University of Exeter, where I worked as Lecturer in Classics and Ancient History (2014-2016) and the University of Birmingham, where I served as Teaching Fellow in Ancient History (2013-14).
Research Interest
My research interests concern the history, historiography and the history of ideas of Classical Antiquity and the Ancient Near East, with particular emphasis on ancient Greco-Roman political and religious thought and their legacies.
