Biography
I joined the Superconductivity group in 2014. My works aim is to characterise and evaluate self-field corrections for critical current measurements with a focus on 'ITER' materials and sample holders. A finite element analysis model was built using Comsol Multiphysics. The superconducting properties were implemented using H-formulation. From the differences in field distribution due to geometry, and applied magnetic fields self-field correction term were derived.
