Biography
Patrick B. Verguet has been corporate vice president, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), since 2004, and has been responsible for operations in Canada and Latin America since 2010 and 2012, respectively. Prior to assuming his current role, Verguet served as vice president of sales and country management in Europe. Verguet has some 30 years of medical device experience beginning with Travenol in France, and held several sales and marketing management positions within Baxter Europe. Over the years, he served the company as global business director for hemofiltration and business unit/country manager for operations in the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands and Nordic countries. Verguet also served as general manager of Edwards’ research medical operations in Utah, and as vice president and general manager of Edwards’ cardiac surgery systems business at the company’s corporate headquarters in Irvine. Verguet holds a degree as a doctor in pharmacy from the University of Besançon
