Biography
Born and raised in Israel, as well as a British national, I received my Bachelor Degrees in Mathematics and Physics from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, in 2003. Already smitten by Mathematics, and in particular the Mathematics that pertains to Physics, I continued my studies at the Department of Mathematics until I received my Masters Degree in 2006. In 2007 I moved to Atlanta, Georgia, United States, to attend the Ph.D programme at Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). Under the supervision of Prof. Michael Loss I obtained my Ph.D in December 2011. I am currently a Lise Meitner Senior Post Doctoral Fellow at TU Wien, after nearly 5 years at the University of Cambridge, 3 of which were under a personal Post Doctoral Fellowship awarded to me by the EPSRC. My main research interests are Kinetic Theory, PDEs, Applied Analysis and Probability, Functional Inequalities and Optimal Transportation.
