Biography
Before retirement, John Walker was Chief Executive of English Partnerships. He has extensive experience of the property and housing sectors and has held a wide range of directorships throughout his career in both the public and private sectors. In addition to Esh Group, John is on the boards of Wynyard Park and Gentoo Group – he became Chairman of the latter in 2013. He is a commissioner for English Heritage and was awarded a CBE in 2009 for services to regeneration.
