Biography
Mark Dobler is Chief Executive Officer for EthosEnergy and is based in Houston, Texas. Mark joined Wood Group Gas Turbine Services (GTS) in 2002 and was responsible for the division’s entry into operations & maintenance and long term maintenance contracting. He took responsibility for the continued development and expansion of the engineering, procurement and construction business in 2006 and became CEO for the GTS division in 2012 and Group Director in 2013. Mark also served on the boards of two GTS joint ventures, RWG and TransCanada Turbines, until the formation of EthosEnergy, and currently serves on the board of Wood Group Pratt & Whitney. With over 28 years’ experience, he started his career in the United States Merchant Marine before entering the energy business, first in operations and then as an owner of gas fired power generation facilities. During this time Mark has been responsible for all aspects of energy delivery including development, construction, asset and plant operations, and maintenance. He has held positions of Vice President, Operations at Enron North America and Enron Energy Services; President, Operational Energy Corp; and various O&M (operations & maintenance) management roles at Coastal Power (now El Paso Energy) and Combustion Engineering (now Alstom).
