Biography
Dr. Steven Belmont received his Associate of Science in Nursing from Norwalk Community College and BSN Summa Cum Laude from Fairfield University. He specialized in critical care nursing and co-authored the evidenced-based protocol, “Therapeutic Hypothermia After Cardiac Arrest†for The Stamford Hospital. Dr. Belmont went on to receive his Master of Science in Nursing from the Fairfield University and Bridgeport Hospital Nurse Anesthesia Program. He received his Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Fairfield University in 2014. Dr. Belmont is the Assistant Program Director for the Nurse Anesthesia Program. He is a practicing Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for Bridgeport Anesthesia Associates.
