Biography
John Arnton joined Faroe in 2011 as Legal Manager. John worked in Scottish private practice before joining Total in 1985. Thereafter he worked in various legal roles for Occidental Petroleum and the Elf Group following the latter’s acquisition of Occidental’s UK assets in 1991. John joined Faroe Petroleum from Dana Petroleum where he had been Group Legal Manager & Company Secretary since 2000.
Research Interest
He is a qualified solicitor and Notary Public, having read law at Dundee University, and also holds a postgraduate Diploma in Petroleum Law.
