Biography
Mark joined GCU having just completed his PhD at the University of Edinburgh in 2015. His thesis examined the Republican party’s role in challenging President Lyndon Johnson’s War on Poverty during the 1960s. Currently, Mark is developing his thesis for publications.
Research Interest
He is primarily interested in the political history of the Twentieth Century in the United States and the United Kingdom. In particular, he enjoys researching the influence of prominent politicians on their respective country's history.
