Biography
Dr Long was awarded her PhD in 2004 from the University of Warwick and joined GCU in 2011 following posts at the University of Warwick, the University of Manchester and Northumbria University. She is a historian of modern British history and health history, and has published articles and books on the history of mental health services; occupational health history; work and mental health; health, work and gender, and disability history.
