Biography
He is Director of the Unit of Play. Prior to joining Goldsmiths, Martin taught at University College London, and held visiting positions at The University of Freiburg, The University of Barcelona, and 17, Institute for Critical Studies. Martin’s work develops a philosophy of practices of thinking, knowing, and feeling and across a variety of fields, interweaving a speculative pragmatism with an evolving pluralistic politics. He has a keen interest in the politics of difference, postcolonial thought, and in forms of thinking that are conceptually inventive, speculatively experimental, and sensibly pluralistic.
Research Interest
