Biography
Dr Ragupathy Venkatachalam joined the Institute of Management Studies in 2016. He has previously taught economics at the Centre for Development Studies, Trivandrum, India and worked as a research fellow at the Artificial Intelligence Economics Research Center at the National Chengchi University, Taiwan. He obtained his PhD from the University of Trento, Italy and a European Masters in Law and Economics from the University of Hamburg, University of Bologna and Université Paul Cézanne Aix-Marseille III. He has an MSc Economics from the Madras School of Economics, Chennai, India and BA (Hons) Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi, India. He also serves as the associate editor of Economia Politica [Journal of Analytical and Institutional Economics].
