Biography
I have been closely involved with Critical Management Studies (CMS) since its emergence in the mid 1990s and I organised a stream at the first CMS conference in 1999. Since 2007 most of my research has been focussed on my practical involvement with the Third Sector – civil society, the social economy, co-operatives, social enterprises, charities and community development. I have previously worked at Newcastle University Business School, Manchester Business School, Brunel University and UMIST.
