Biography
After Chris obtained his geology degree he completed a doctoral research project on the isotope and trace element chemistries of an active hydrothermal system and associated precious and base metal mineralization in the spectacular Rocky Mountains. Following a brief spell at the British Geological Survey's isotope laboratories in the relatively hospitable Nottinghamshire countryside he headed for the mountains again, this time to those of Antarctica.
