Biography
Dr. Denise Tsang is a Lecturer at Henley Business School. She was previously a Lecturer at Bristol Business School. Denise was born in Hong Kong, and obtained a first-class degree in management and business administration from University of Reading in 1994. She completed her PhD in economics in relation to foreign direct investment within the European microcomputer industry in 1998. Denise has taught courses on Comparative Management, Organisational Behaviour, International Business, Business Strategy and Emerging Markets; she has supervised over thirty master students in relation to their dissertations as well as six PhD students
Research Interest
Her research interests include strategic issues within multinationals, creativity, cross-cultural management, institutions and knowledge-based capitalism. Denise has gained research grants from the British Academy, the Japan Foundation Endowment Fund and the Leverhulme Trust. She has written over 30 articles and several books. Denise has served in the External Relations Committee and the Outreach Committee of International Management Division, Academy of Management.
