Biography
Following undergraduate studies at Heythrop College; Centre Sèvres, Paris; and Literae Humaniores, Oxford, Peter studied for a Dip. Ed at Glasgow and an MTh Patristic Theology at Heythrop. His doctorate degree was in ancient philosophy ("Plotinus' correction of some Gnostic misunderstandings of his theory of Intellect") undertaken at King's College, London. He was previously assistant teacher of Latin and Greek at St. Ignatius' College, Enfield, (1982-85) and St. Aloysius' College, Glasgow, (1989-91).
