Biography

Mr. Marc M. P. de Garidel has been Vice President of EBE since May 2006. Mr. de Garidel served as the Vice President of South Region at Amgen International from January 2007 to 2010. Mr. de Garidel served as an Acting President and General Manager at Ipsen Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. He was employed at Amgen Inc. in various positions, including Vice-President and Chief Administration Officer. He served as Vice President of Southwest Europe at Amgen since January 2006. He served as the Vice President of Finance & Administration at Amgen Europe from April 1995 to July 1998. Mr. de Garidel served as the Finance Director for Eli Lilly and Company in Germany from 1992 to April 1995. He started his career in 1983 with Eli Lilly pharmaceutical Group. He served as the Vice President and General Manager of Amgen France from 2000 to December 2005 and was its in charge of general management. Mr. de Garidel served as a Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller of Amgen from 1998 to June 2000. He served as the Chief Accounting Officer of Amgen since December 1998 and Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis since July 1998. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Ipsen S.A. from November 22, 2010 to July 18, 2016. He has been the Non-Executive Chairman of Ipsen S.A. since November 22, 2010. He serves as the Vice President of Supervisory Board at Inserm Transfert SA. He serves as a Director of TcLand Expression SA and Member of Supervisory Board at Inserm Transfert SA. He served as a Director of Galenica Ltd. since 2015. He served as a Director at Pharnext S.A. since June 2014. Mr. de Garidel holds a Master in Engineering from the Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics, Master in International Management from Thunderbird School of Management, Phoenix (USA) and Executive Master in Business Administration from Harvard University, Boston (USA)
