Stephen Ayres

Biography

As Finance Director, Stephen has overall control and responsibility for the financial aspects of the Company. “JRI is investing heavily in its core capabilities and it’s depth of knowledge and experience of the Orthopaedic sector is enabling us to adopt a successful patient-led product strategy. This strategy, together with selectively increasing our sales activity in new market areas will continue to drive the business forward and deliver strong financial growth.” After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in 1993 Stephen has gained a wealth of financial and general management experience supporting SME businesses deliver growth and operational improvements. Stephen joined JRI as Finance Director and Company Secretary in February 2015. He previously held positions as Finance Director of Datong plc, an AIM listed technology group, Managing Director for the UK division of the international healthcare group Attendo AB and a number of senior financial and corporate finance roles within Rolls-Royce plc.
