Biography
I began working at Keele in January 2017. Prior to this I worked and studied in the Centre for Critical Theory at the University of Nottingham, where I gained my PhD in Summer 2016. My doctoral thesis explored the relationship between transitional justice processes, such as trials and truth commissions, and the expansion of neoliberal globalisation in post-conflict contexts. This work drew together my interests in social and cultural theory, transitional justice, financialisation and critical neoliberalism studies. During my time at Nottingham I gained teaching experience in many key areas across sociology, including social and cultural theory, classical sociology, and research methods.
