Biography
I joined the School of Pharmacy in August 2006 having previously lectured at Washington and Lee University in the USA. My research expertise stems from eight years at the University of St Andrews studying supramolecular chemistry, chemical genetics and the biological importance of nitric oxide. Work on this latter topic remains my primary research focus and in particular, the design of novel NO-releasing compounds with the potential to treat a variety of conditions, including peripheral vascular disorders.
