Biography
I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a first class BA (Hons) in Politics, Psychology, and Sociology in 2014. I further graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2017 with an MA and PhD in Psychology, funded by an ESRC studentship and supervised by Prof Michael E. Lamb. I took up my position as Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Developmental Psychology at Keele University in July 2017. My research interests centre on the application of developmental, cognitive, and social psychology to inform and improve practice and public policy. In particular, I am interested in the interface between psychology, criminal law, and/or the family. My PhD research was the first series of studies to comprehensively assess the values and risks associated with the direct- and cross-examination of children in British courts.
Research Interest
My research interests are centred on three main topics: (1) cognitive control during task switching; (2) application & development of cognitive models; and (3) issues surrounding replication in psychological science.
