"Christopher Bown devised and teaches the Private Equity Finance Law module which is part of the LLM in International Financial Law. He is a solicitor of England and Wales and received his MA in modern languages and law from Queens’ College, Cambridge. He was a partner for 16 years with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in London, where he co-founded the firm’s private equity practice, after 11 years as a partner with Baker & McKenzie in London. He has spent over 30 years advising corporate and private equity clients on a wide range of transactions throughout the world.
