Biography

" He focuses on competition and regulatory matters at both European and national levels (including the co-ordination of cases before several different competition authorities in major international transactions). He has been involved in a number of significant EC matters including GE/Honeywell and the Coca-Cola enquiry. John is a non-governmental advisor to the European Commission at the International Competition Network and is recognised as a leading competition law practitioner in a number of guides and directories, including Chambers Global, European Legal 500, Global Counsel 3000 and Euromoney’s Best of the Best guide. He was most recently (April 2007) nominated in International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers as being one of the 15 top competition lawyers worldwide. John has an LLB from Bristol University and is a Visiting Senior Fellow and a member of the Executive Council of the Centre for European Law at King’s College.
