Biography

"Nicholas is a Solicitor, Advocate and Partner at specialist construction law firm, Fenwick Elliott LLP. He is also a Chartered Surveyor. He acts in a wide range of construction sectors in the UK and internationally, including general construction, transport, communications, industrial, process plant, petrochemical, and energy and is regularly listed as a leading lawyer in independent publications Chambers & Partners UK and The Legal 500 UK. Nicholas conducted research, commencing when he was a full time academic in 1994 until 1997 at the University of Westminster. He has despite working in a busy legal practice continued developing his research and has published various articles, papers and reports within the legal and construction sector. He is or has been a member of, or chaired various committees and sub-committees for numerous institutions either for the publication of guidance notes, best practice notes, training materials or international rules. He has also conducted Government funded research into construction dispute resolution.
