Biography
"Nima Mersadi Tabari, is Visiting Lecturer and founder of the International Mooting module at The Dickson Poon School of Law and Lecturer in Law at Swansea University. He holds a BSc Hons in Mathematics and Statistics, an LLB Hons in Law, an LLM in International Commercial Law and wrote his PhD on 'International Investment Law and Lex Petrolea: A Comparative Analysis of Foreign Direct Investment in Upstream Oil and Gas in the Persian Gulf Region' at IALS, University of London. "Frederick is a Visiting Professor at the Dickson Poon School of Law. He is also a Research Fellow at the Oxford Intellectual Property Research Centre, University of Oxford, and a Research Fellow at Peking University, Beijing. He serves on the Advisory Council of the McCarthy Institute for Intellectual Property and Technology Law (San Francisco), and he is a Member of the Advisory Council of Anti Copying in Design (ACID – London). Frederick is a Past President of the International Trademark Association. He served as Chief Intellectual Property Counsel and Chief Legal Counsel of Richemont, which includes Cartier, Van Cleef and Arpels, and Alfred Dunhill. He is currently an Advisor on Corporate Culture to the President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. Frederick was inducted into the Intellectual Property Hall of Fame in 2015, which honours those who have helped to establish intellectual property as one of the key business assets of the 21st century. His op-eds have been featured in the Financial Times and the South China Morning Post."
