Biography
Rivkah Zim is a Londoner and has been teaching at King’s in the Department of English Language and Literature since 1991. She has previously taught in Cambridge, at Fitzwilliam College and Pembroke College during the 1980s, and before that held temporary teaching or research posts in Oxford, Bedford College London and the University of Leeds where she also studied. Her latest book is The Consolations of Writing: Literary Strategies of Resistance from Boethius to Primo Levi (Princeton University Press, 2014). She is currently writing a biography of Thomas Sackville (1536-1608) and editing his letters.
