Biography

I currently work as lecturer of law at Kingston Business School, having become full- time lecturer at Kingston University starting in November 2015. My history at Kingston dates back much earlier, however, when I enrolled as LLM student in 2005, taking over some part-time teaching from 2009. In 2011, Kingston University offered me a scholarship to do my PhD, which I successfully finished on a thesis concerning insolvency law by 2015. Before starting my career as university lecturer, I had worked as a qualified Lawyer in Germany, practising insolvency law as well as working as special risk manager for an international credit insurance company. I am a qualified English Solicitor since 2011, holding my practice certificate since 2017. My areas of teaching centre on insolvency law and finance law for the LLM and Law for Accountants on the undergraduate programme.
