Biography
I graduated from Goldsmiths College, University of London, in 1988 with a BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art. In 2001, I completed an MA in Psychoanalysis at Middlesex University under the founding course director Professor Bernard Burgoyne. In 2007, I completed a PhD at University of Gloucestershire, my thesis elaborated a Lacanian approach to interpreting and understanding crime scene photography--in particular an archive held by The National Archive covering the period 1955–1970. In 2011, I completed the Learning and Teaching in Higher Education PgCert at Kingston University and became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
