Biography
"My career spans 47 years, comprising 27 years spent working in the automotive industry (Ricardo, Fiat and Suzuki) and 20 years working in the education sector. For 11 years I was Director of Automotive Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering, Kingston University, London. As a result of University restructuring in 2011, I took a senior Faculty post in addition to my role as an Associate Professor of Automotive Engineering. My current research activities include membership of Kingston University's Materials Research Centre, Complex Flows Group and various automotive research. I am a Professional Review Assessor/Chair for the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and an Academic Accreditation Chair for the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). "
