Zoe Clark

Biography

"Zoe is an experienced nurse and health visitor. She spent much of her career as an A&E Nurse, working with all age groups and developing her knowledge, before going on to train as a health visitor. After working with student nurses however, Zoe decided to pursue the opportunity to join Kingston and St George's Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education. Zoe currently leads on implementing safeguarding in the pre-registration curriculum, with the help of the children's nursing team. She is pursuing initiation of breastfeeding training for all child field students. Zoe is a member of many module teams, including the Foundations of children's nursing and public health modules, which are areas she feels passionately about. She also teaches on a number of post-registration modules and is currently developing a new masters module alongside a colleague. Additionally, Zoe acts as a clinical liaison lecturer, monitoring and evaluating the quality of student placements in a number of locations, including Royal Brompton Hospital's children's wards and PICU."

Infant health, including infant nutrition and allergies; Inter professional working, including Inter professional knowledge, teaching and barriers to inter professional activities. Safeguarding children and young people including teaching safeguarding practice across levels and disciplines.
