Biography
Dr. Bibek Gooptu is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology, Leicester Royal Infirmary , United Kingdom. His research interests includes Management of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. He is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Bibek Gooptu is the member of many international affiliations. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He has authored of many research articles/books related to Management of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Research Interest
Diseases mediated by protein misfolding and conformational change, in particular serpinopathies, Molecular mechanisms and therapeutic targeting of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung disease (ILD), familial dementia (FENIB) and hepatic fibrosis.
