Biography
I am currently a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Pharmaceutics within the School of Pharmacy & Biomolecular Sciences, Liverpool John Moores University, UK. I attained my Pharmacy degree from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan. Upon completing my BPharm, I worked extensively in industry involved in quality control for manufacture of solid dosage forms. I subsequently completed my MSc in Pharmaceutical Analysis from Sheffield Hallam University; focusing upon antibiotic synthesis. Following MSc, I was fortunate to go onto complete my PhD at the University of Central Lancashire on scholarship; thesis entitled “Compressible Proliposome Formulations For Nebulizationâ€. Research Interests; • Micro and Nano-scale Drug Delivery • Nano-formulations • Pulmonary and Oral Drug Delivery • Lipid-based formulations and their effect in in-vivo and in-vitro studies • Combination and outcomes of lipid-based with vaccine formulations • Member of Formulation and Drug Delivery group • Polymeric Drug Delivery Systems • Scale up of Advanced Drug Delivery systems
