Biography
From qualifying in Clinical Psychology I have attempted to combine clinical practice with academic research and to that end have held both NHS and university academic posts. Since 1996 I have been Reader in Clinical Psychology at Manchester with an NHS clinical base with Pennine Care NHS trust and latterly also in Manchester. Much of my clinical research is done in collaboration with these and other trusts in the North West region.
