David Hughes

Biography

Dr. David J. Hughes is Lecturer of Organisational Psychology and joined the Alliance Manchester Business School faculty in January 2015. Prior to joining the business school, David was the course director of Business Pscyhology at Coventry University. His PhD research conducted at the University of Manchester concerned the role of personality in consumers’ use of credit (loans, credit cards) and insurance (genuine and fraudulent claims). His research interests centre on individual differences and can be broken down into three main areas: (i) theory and measurement of individual differences, (ii) the role of individual differences in workplace performance and deviance, and (iii) individual differences in everyday and unethical financial behaviour.
