Biography
George Chouliarakis holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Athens, an MSc in Economics from the University of London and a PhD in Economics from the University of Warwick. Prior to his appointment at Manchester as Jean Monnet Lecturer in European Economic Integration, he taught economics at the University of Essex and was research associate at the Institute for Employment Research of the University of Warwick. He is a visiting scholar of the Bank of Greece and a fellow of the Euro Area Business Cycle Network. His research interests include macroeconomics, economic history, labour macroeconomics, international macroeconomics and the macroeconomics of monetary unions.
